Storebycactus

Storebycactus is an independent brand and cultural platform founded in 2018 by Wei-Yao (Cactus) Hsu. The project explores identity and memory by small runs, curated releases, and visual storytelling. It was started as a streetwear selection page and has evolved into a environment for product, picture, and community.

Approach

At the heart of what I do is human connection. I create relationships between niche brands. I keep in close contact with the customer during discovery, research, launch, and follow up for product. I bring underrepresented labels to the Taiwan market for careful translation of their stories, and the shaping of clear retail moments, real and inclusive. Work consists of brand copy, campaign visuals, social content, storefront visual layout, window and floor presentation, signage, and vendor production of on-site assets.

Outcome

Storebycactus has created a bridge between new designers and a curious audience in Taiwan, providing more thoughtful options and deeper insights into craft. The company exists as a book of living visuals and objects, nourished by real conversations with partners and clients.
